So we made another batch of playdough... this time it was a cooked version. I think it turned out a lot better, it's more the consistency of store bought playdough. Here is the recipe for anyone interested:
2 cups of plain flour
2 cups of colored water
1 Tbsp. of cooking oil
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup of salt
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a medium size saucepan. Cook slowly on medium-high and stir until the playdough thickens. Keeps best in the fridge in plastic containers.
It makes a good amount of playdough and I colored the water this time but next time I'll separate and color individual dough balls since we ended up with a boatload of yellow playdough! ;)
