Fukushen Gardens

We checked out a beautiful garden in Naha the other day. We were meaning to take family pictures but it was SO darn hot it didn't quite work out that way! Peyton slept the first half of the garden away! It was pretty much just how I imagined a Japanese garden to be.
For those of you reading this in Okinawa who would like to visit you take 58 south down to Naha and once your in downtown take a right onto route 42, follow that for a little and you'll see the garden on your left right past the gardens is a parking lot. The woman at the front desk asked us if we were American and didn't ask for any mulah so it was free! ;)

I wanted a pic of the monorail thing in Naha!

The other day Peyton was all into trying on these hats I have for photo props!

Peyton the first half of the gardens!

Looking over the railing at the big waterfall!

Comprehensive

So Saturday evening we went down to Comprehensive park to check it out and see what it was all about. The park has a WHOLE lot to offer! There are TONS of stuff, we only saw about a 1/4 of the park. Peyton got to play her little heart out! As for Tabby, he's still on 6 pills a day. He seems to be getting some of his spunk back...we've got another appointment on Saturday for an ultrasound to check his heart. I went bow crazy and got Peyton this headband. I have other pics I will post later. Playing hard! Loving on Tabby.

Kindergarten!

Well... we've got ourselves a kindergartener! I can't hardly believe it! Time sure does fly by. Keira's Cochlear Implant was finally approved and authorized and we now have ourselves an implant date! Tricare ended up denying her twice and her Dr had to schedule a peer to peer with United healthcare/Tricare. Everything seems to be on track now though. I'll try to keep on top of updating the blog after the implant to show her progress :) K for Kindergarten! :) Pledge of Allegiance at the flag ceremony
