Adventures with The Rogers!

We just had typhoon Jelawat roll through yesterday... this one was by far the worst! There was quite a bit of damage due to this one. Yes, this was the third one to hit in a month. We're a little typhooned-out! I have a million pictures I've got to upload but haven't found the time yet. These are some from my camera phone... Daddy and Peyton at the indoor play place. I see you! So this week we visited Peace Prayer Park, it is a stunningly beautiful park. Knowing what the Okinawans endured during the battle of Okinawa it really has a somber type feeling. It overlooks "suicide cliffs," as the name implies many civilians jumped to their deaths during the battle of Okinawa. The names of all who died are on these slabs. From the observation room. These big nasty spiders were all over the walking path!

So I completely forgot to blog about the imagination movers show! Peyton had a blast! It took her a little bit to get warmed up but by the end she was dancing and movin' all around! This weekend was the Orion beer fest and the Eisa festival! It was great and at the end they had a big laser light show and fireworks, Peyton had the best time! During the laser show she kept saying "Oh my, I don't believe it!" she was so excited. Lastly we had our first day of gymnastics today! We were so proud of Peyton! She was really enthusiastic and was ALL over the place, we already can't wait until next week! My only complaint was she refuse to wear her leotard. :/ Hopefully she will come around next week.
