Pray for Reed...

I feel philanthropy is a very important part of life. St. Judes Children's Research hospital (http://www.stjude.org/stjude/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=f87d4c2a71fca210VgnVCM1000001e0215acRCRD) is a charity very close to my heart. For the past year or so I've been following the journey and courage of one brave little angel whose family created a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pray-for-Reed/114295481952143) dedicated to her struggle with cancer. She was a patient at St. Judes for pontine glioma (brainstem tumor). Recently this family lost their sweet little angel. I can not even begin to imagine the pain this family is feeling right now. I'm sure thoughts & prayers for sweet little Reed world wide would be greatly appreciated...

Comprehensive

So Saturday evening we went down to Comprehensive park to check it out and see what it was all about. The park has a WHOLE lot to offer! There are TONS of stuff, we only saw about a 1/4 of the park. Peyton got to play her little heart out! As for Tabby, he's still on 6 pills a day. He seems to be getting some of his spunk back...we've got another appointment on Saturday for an ultrasound to check his heart. I went bow crazy and got Peyton this headband. I have other pics I will post later. Playing hard! Loving on Tabby.

Kindergarten!

Well... we've got ourselves a kindergartener! I can't hardly believe it! Time sure does fly by. Keira's Cochlear Implant was finally approved and authorized and we now have ourselves an implant date! Tricare ended up denying her twice and her Dr had to schedule a peer to peer with United healthcare/Tricare. Everything seems to be on track now though. I'll try to keep on top of updating the blog after the implant to show her progress :) K for Kindergarten! :) Pledge of Allegiance at the flag ceremony
