Adventures with The Rogers!

The Kadena facebook page run by the base is stating an ALL CLEAR!! Yay! Lot's are asking about threat from a nuclear leak... they're saying we should be safe as we are about 1,100 miles away... If anything new happens I will try to keep the blog updated!

We are ok. We are still under tsunami warning. I am evacuated to a girlfriends house on base... here is a helpful link for those of you wanting to follow what's going on  http://www.kadena.af.mil/library/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=16409 They have not lifted the tsunami warnings for us because the aftershocks are still going on in mainland from my understanding. I'm sure everyone is hearing about the huge earthquake in mainland Japan... everything is OK on Okinawa. So Mama has been meaning to get her eyes checked for forever now! I finally went and got an eye exam done Monday... of course she told me what I already knew- I need glasses! I've become nearsighted. I've known this for a couple years but kept putting it off, then of course got pregnant, then we moved and etc, etc, etc!! :) The Dr. told me to wear them whenever I feel necessary. I still need to get a pair of prescription sunglasses because I'll mostly be wearing them driving. Here is a pic of Peyton & Mama with her new glasses! It's great to see fine detail far away again! Pictures from Peyton's party! The photo's I'm in my friend Andrea was nice enough to take ;) We still had a good time even though Dada was missing. We definitely missed his presence though. :( This is a pic from a few days ago I wanted to share! LOL Kynna is squishing Zanes nose!  Hold on a sec Gage! This was Zac the first half of the party! Silly Zane! The twins... two sets! Yummy! Zane wanted in on the fun too! ;)

Peyton is 1 today! Wow... can't believe how fast a year flew on bye! Dada wrote Peyton the sweetest email this morning that I read out loud to her... it will be printed for her baby book too. We sure wish he was here. We both know he does too though. We're going to have cupcakes and ice cream with a few friends this afternoon!
