Belly!

So everyone back in the states has been asking about my belly lately... so here are a couple pics of it thrown in the mix! Peyton is starting to get really excited, she is constantly talking about her baby sister!
A while back Adam purchased me a die cut machine. I'm finally proud enough to post some of the cards I've been making. I've been at it a while but I've always felt like the cards were... I don't know how to put it... not good! LOL I recently changed my software I was using to Make the Cut(http://www.make-the-cut.com/) and it's a LOT more user friendly in my opinion. I'm learning to not over think the cards too. In the past I think I was putting so much embellishments on them they looked gaudy instead of nice(to me at least!).
I got the cat silhouette over at the Make the cut forum- http://forum.make-the-cut.com/discussion/24867/shaped-edge-cut-out-card

This one could be better but not too bad!

I'm very proud of this one! I think it turned out great!

I decided to get her some rain boots after this!
Side note: It looks like Peyton is freezing in this pic- that jacket was just given to her and she refuse to take it off!
Oh and did she ever enjoy them!

The last few days it's been back up into the 70's and beautiful!

Taking the trike down some hills!

Teppanyaki! She was very impressed by the flames!

Kindergarten!

Well... we've got ourselves a kindergartener! I can't hardly believe it! Time sure does fly by. Keira's Cochlear Implant was finally approved and authorized and we now have ourselves an implant date! Tricare ended up denying her twice and her Dr had to schedule a peer to peer with United healthcare/Tricare. Everything seems to be on track now though. I'll try to keep on top of updating the blog after the implant to show her progress :) K for Kindergarten! :) Pledge of Allegiance at the flag ceremony

7 months post activation

So we are at almost 7 months post activation with Keira's Cochlear Implant. Since the 3rd mapping her vocalizations and attempted words have grown so much! She now wears both her Neptune and her Naida processors. She still prefers the Neptune but she is much more tolerable of her Naida. She is also wearing her hearing aid with her Cochlear implant more and more. She still doesn't tolerate the hearing aid in the car for long periods but she does great at her toddler class and during speech with the aid. She is becoming more and more aware of music and likes to dance now! :) Her sign vocabulary is steadily growing too as is mine! Just the other day during her toddler class she impressed me so much! They take the kids out one at a time and do a "focus" time which is similar to speech and lasts about 15 minutes. We were reading a book with Keira that had flaps and there was a frog and our specialist was telling her "Jump, jump, jump" & Keira picked up the bo...

Comprehensive

So Saturday evening we went down to Comprehensive park to check it out and see what it was all about. The park has a WHOLE lot to offer! There are TONS of stuff, we only saw about a 1/4 of the park. Peyton got to play her little heart out! As for Tabby, he's still on 6 pills a day. He seems to be getting some of his spunk back...we've got another appointment on Saturday for an ultrasound to check his heart. I went bow crazy and got Peyton this headband. I have other pics I will post later. Playing hard! Loving on Tabby.
