Adventures with The Rogers!

Peyton got a big girl bed today! Well not totally new since her crib converted into a daybed but new for her!

So lately I've been taking indoor pictures in RAW. When you shoot in RAW you can better tweak the images, it's kind of like the equivalent of a digital darkroom. I can better correct the white balance and make the colors more natural. There is a big debate among many photographers whether you should shoot in RAW or JPEG. I've enjoyed it... though I'm still going to probably shoot mostly in JPEG unless the lighting is inconsistent. Here are a few images of Peyton I took in RAW... This one I think I got the colors pretty spot on

So Peyton has.... well... we don't really know what Peyton has. The Dr said it looks like it could be chicken pox OR hand, mouth and foot disease. She's got a rash in some areas that indicate hand, foot & mouth and some areas that indicate chicken pox. Poor baby girl is handling pretty well, although she has her moments where I know she doesn't feel good. Here are some pictures I took today you can see some of the rash on her face and arms...

We're fish sitting the Harrison kiddo's fishies for a while while they visit the states. Peyton loves them! She loves for me to put her on a stool and watch the fishies! On another note it is still dreadfully hot here, we went to the park today for only 45 minutes at 10 in the morning and by the time I dragged Peyton back to the house she was beat red and sweating! I snapped a webcam pic of her hair afterward from her hat! I did notice the beach by the park's water was a lot higher and so gorgeous! I'll have to try to get back there and snap some pics!

So Peyton is an Elmo fanatic nowadays! Here is a pic of her enthusiasm for Mr. Elmo! So since tonight was Daddy's last night with us we made a family trip down to Jusco and Miss Peyton got her very own stuffed Elmo! Boy was she excited! For everyone wondering she's got no shirt because we had an accident at Jusco and Peyton spilled a drink all over herself!

I can't believe this little goober is 17 months old already! These photos feel like they were yesterday!

So we had the never ending Typhoon Muifa blow through Thursday, Friday & Saturday... we were all so sick of sitting in the house waiting for that thing to blow over! Luckily we had no damage... there was some damage on base though... Sea was still pretty angry... this was once we were in the all clear Muifa blew the post office doors right off! All wet inside Somethin' was funny... Where is Peyton? There she is! Coco's was the place to be after the typhoon!
