Adventures with The Rogers!

Not a whole lot of damage from the typhoon, there were lots of trees down on base when we went to the commissary yesterday. We went walking around and I snapped a few pics of damage I saw on the seawall. Today we had a beach day. Peyton had a good time playing with her beach wheelbarrow and sand toys. I think Adam even had a good time- even though he claims to hate the beach! The pics from the beach aren't great quality since I snapped them with Adam's camera phone... Adam's homemade pizza- he was proud. It was good! Trying to sneak stuff from the beach tent to the sand!

We've lost power four times tonight! This is a lot worse than Chaba! Our ears have been poppin' and the windows sound like their going to bust! I swear we're the only ones with power right now! The hotel & apartments behind us are invisible! We're about to go to bed listening to the wind howling outside....

Typhoon Songda is scheduled to hit us tomorrow night. So if you can't get a hold of us it's most likely because our power has gone out... Not much new going on lately... I was pretty stoked today because Adam treated me to a new purse! I'm a purse-aholic and this is my first purse purchase in almost 3 years- and the diaper bag I had to tote for a year didn't count! It's a fresh spring feeling Etienne Aigner, now Peyton's diapers get to ride in style! Peyton liked the new purse too! Notice the fish in mid-air right by the © symbol! I guess these are some sort of fish that breath out of water for a while. These crabs get HUGE! New purse!! Queen of the recliner! Listen hear Momma... This is my old crayon case from when I was a kid... Had Granddad ship it to Japan for Miss Peyton! Waaa hoooo! Yeaaaaahhhhhhh!

So it's been a while since the last blog post! We've had a lot of stuff going on... we have a family member with a serious Osteomyelitis(bone infection) so thoughts & prayers would be greatly appreciated. We've just been trying to spend as much time together as possible taking day trips, lot's of photo's & playin' with our baby! :) Shisa's guarding the bridge View from the walking path at Big Time Resort Decided to pose!
